Such a well made piece. I teach handwriting to young children and this was the perfect addition to my tools. I recommend filing it with non-colored sand (I used blue and it did color the wood a bit, but it wasn’t a big deal for me) if you want to not affect the wood color. Such a beautiful item and it’s one of my student’s favorite multisensory ways to learn how to form letters.

Well I've never seen anything packed with so much care as this sand tray! Shrink-wrap, bubble wrap and multiple layers to ensure the smooth finish was not damaged in transit. A nice item and exactly what we wanted for our daughter
